COLD CASE HOMICIDES OF CHILDREN

A former 21-year career police officer and SVU detective, Steven David Lampley, is taking his many years of vast experience and his writing skills as an author, and producing a series of cold case homicide true crime books.  Steven is only covering cases of children who have been murdered but their cases have not been solved.  In his own words, "It's time these innocents receive the justice they so very rightly deserve."

Steven is writing a book on each case he covers so that the masses can learn about any, or all, of the cases they are have an interest.  By compiling the case file information into one book, anyone can learn about a case and, hopefully, may realize they have information, eyewitness or physical evidence that can set the course to solve a case and actually get justice for a child.

This is for the children and  we urge you to share this webpage.  We also urge you to share any of the books you purchase with others.

Her family never had much of anything materially.  She had to wear hand-me-down clothing and had a lazy left eye that resulted in classmates making fun of her and bullying her. Despite these odds, Kathy Jones was an upbeat, positive child who carried a small Bible in her purse at all times.  Having been given a hand-me-down pair of roller skates and a dollar from her mom, Kathy set out to skate for the first time in her life in skates of her own.  The twelve-year-old never made it.  She was abducted and savagely raped, tortured, and then murdered behind a doughnut shop on Thompson Lane in Nashville.
